Tsukishima Monja Street is famous for its okonomiyaki and monjayaki, savory Japanese pancakes with vegetables and/or meat. Check out some of the street vendors or sit down for a full meal.
Public transportation is the best way to get around Tokyo. Purchase a Suica or Pasmo card for easy use on the subway and buses. Taxis are also available but can be expensive. Budget approximately $10-$20 CAD per day for transportation costs.
If you have more than 3 days, consider visiting some of Tokyo's famous temples or museums. If you have less than 3 days, consider cutting out one of the activities listed. Don't forget to try some street food along the way!
Narita International Airport (NRT) is Tokyo's main international airport, located approximately 60km east of the city center. Haneda Airport (HND) is closer to the city, located approximately 30km south of downtown Tokyo. Both airports are well-connected to public transportation with many options for getting to and from the city center.
