Kodachadri 3-Day Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kodachadri Trek

    Start early morning for the 4-hour trek to Kodachadri peak. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Western Ghats at the summit. Descend and explore the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary. End the day with a visit to the Kollur Mookambika Temple.

  2. Day 2: Jog Falls and Sharavathi Valley
    2 hours (90 km) from Kollur Mookambika Temple

    Drive to Jog Falls, the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. Take a dip in the natural pool at the bottom of the falls. Head to the Sharavathi Valley for a nature walk and birdwatching. Catch the sunset from the sunset point at Honnemaradu.

  3. Day 3: Maravanthe Beach and Kundapur
    1 hour (40 km) from Kollur Mookambika Temple

    Relax on the pristine Maravanthe Beach, one of the few beaches in India that offers both sunrise and sunset views over the sea. Visit the Anegudde Vinayaka Temple. Take a boat ride on the Kodi Backwaters and enjoy fresh seafood in Kundapur.

If you're interested in history, visit the 9th-century Nagara Fort or the 14th-century Hidlumane Falls. You can also take a side trip to the nearby Agumbe Rainforest to spot exotic flora and fauna.
