Nature Lover's 3-Day Itinerary for Belagavi Dhandali in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Godchinamalaki Falls
    1 hour 10 minutes (27.5 miles) from Belagavi Dhandali

    In the morning, we'll head to Godchinamalaki Falls which are located in a picturesque valley surrounded by lush green forests and rocky hills. After a refreshing swim in the cool waters, we'll have a picnic lunch by the falls. In the afternoon, we'll go on a short hike in the forest to spot some of the region's beautiful birds and other wildlife. In the evening, we'll head back to our lodging in Belagavi Dhandali.

  2. Day 2: Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary
    45 minutes (19.5 miles) from Belagavi Dhandali

    Today we'll spend the day exploring Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary. In the morning, we'll go on a guided jeep safari to see some of the larger animals like Indian bison and leopards. After a picnic lunch, we'll go on a guided nature walk to see some of the smaller animals and learn about the region's flora and fauna. In the evening, we'll head back to our lodging in Belagavi Dhandali.

  3. Day 3: Jamboti Hills
    30 minutes (14.5 miles) from Belagavi Dhandali

    On our last day, we'll head to Jamboti Hills for a day of trekking and bird watching. In the morning, we'll trek to the top of the hill to see the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding forests and valleys. After a picnic lunch, we'll go bird watching in the forest to spot some of the region's rarest birds. In the evening, we'll head back to our lodging in Belagavi Dhandali

If you have more time, you can also visit the famous Belgaum Fort, which is just 17 miles away from Belagavi Dhandali. For side trips, you can visit the famous Dudhsagar Falls, located around 2 hours (70 miles) from Belagavi Dhandali.
