The island is covered with thick foliage and has several streams running through it.
Visit the ancient Thirunelli Temple in the morning, one of the oldest temples in Kerala. The temple is surrounded by mountains and a dense forest and is known for its intricate architecture. Afternoon, go on a wildlife safari in the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, and other animals. Then, visit the Phantom Rock, a natural rock formation that resembles a skull.
End your trip with a visit to Soochipara Falls, a three-tiered waterfall surrounded by dense forests. You can take a dip in the pool beneath the falls or go for a short hike to the top of the falls for a panoramic view.
