6-Day Nature Itinerary for Kedarnath Haridwar Rishikesh in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar

    Start your day with a visit to Har Ki Pauri, one of the most famous ghats in Haridwar. Take a dip in the holy Ganges river and witness the famous Ganga Aarti in the evening. In the afternoon, head to Neel Dhara Pakshi Vihar, a bird watching haven with over 150 species of birds. End your day with a serene walk along the river at Moti Bazaar.

  2. Day 2: Kedarnath
    7 hours (232 km) from Haridwar

    Start your trek to Kedarnath early in the morning to avoid the afternoon sun. The trek can take anywhere from 7-9 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath Temple and take in the beautiful views of the Himalayas. Spend the night at one of the many campsites in Kedarnath.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath

    Explore the surrounding areas of Kedarnath. Take a trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful high altitude lake, or visit Gandhi Sarovar, a glacial lake named after Mahatma Gandhi. Spend the evening stargazing at the clear night sky.

  5. Day 5: Rishikesh
