Two-Day Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    20 minutes (7.6 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start the day by visiting the beautiful Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. Then head to the Fontainhas heritage quarter to see the colorful Portuguese-style houses.

    Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at Viva Panjim, known for its authentic Goan cuisine. After lunch, visit the Goa State Museum to learn about the state's rich history and culture.

    Evening: End the day at the Miramar Beach, known for its stunning sunset views. Take a stroll along the shore and grab dinner at one of the beachside shacks.

  2. Day 2: Visit Old Goa and Spice Plantation
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Panaji

    Morning: Start the day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Goa, which includes the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Se Cathedral. Afterward, head to the Mangueshi Temple, one of the oldest and most famous temples in Goa.

    Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at Sahakari Spice Farm, a beautiful spice plantation. Take a guided tour of the plantation and learn about the various spices grown here.

    Evening: End the day at the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which are most beautiful during the monsoon season. Take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the stunning views.

Goa is known for its beautiful beaches, so if you have time, consider visiting some of the other popular beaches such as Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, and Calangute Beach. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary or the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary for a unique experience. Goa is also famous for its nightlife, so make sure to check out some of the popular nightclubs and bars such as Tito's and Club Cubana.
