A 3-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Beaches
    30 minutes (11.7 miles) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, head to the famous Baga Beach, located in North Goa. Take a dip in the Arabian Sea or simply relax on the shore. For lunch, visit Britto's, a shack-style restaurant that serves delicious seafood. In the afternoon, explore the Anjuna Flea Market, which sells everything from clothing to souvenirs. End your day with a visit to Calangute Beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Visit the Temples
    1 hour (24.6 miles) from Baga Beach

    In the morning, visit the Shri Manguesh Temple, one of the largest and most visited temples in Goa. Take in the beautiful architecture and learn about the history of the temple. For lunch, stop by Vinayak Family Restaurant for delicious Indian cuisine. In the afternoon, head to the Shri Shantadurga Temple, dedicated to the goddess of peace and harmony. End your day at the Mahalaxmi Temple, a gorgeous temple dedicated to the goddess of wealth.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Museums
    40 minutes (13.2 miles) from Mahalaxmi Temple

    Start your day by visiting the Goa State Museum, where you can learn about the history and culture of Goa. For lunch, visit Martin's Corner, which serves a mix of Indian and Portuguese cuisine. In the afternoon, head to the Museum of Christian Art, which houses a collection of Christian art and artifacts from the 16th to 20th century. End your day at the Naval Aviation Museum, where you can see aircraft and weapons used by the Indian Navy.

Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider taking a trip to Dudhsagar Falls, which is about 2 hours from Goa. You can also take a spice plantation tour or a sunset river cruise. To maximize your fun, try some of the water sports at the beaches, such as parasailing or jet skiing. For foodies, take a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Goan dishes.
