Adventure Itinerary for 5 Days in Manali (October 2023)

  1. Day 1: Jogini Waterfall
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Manali

    In the morning, we will hike to the beautiful Jogini waterfall. The trail is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the valley. In the afternoon, we can relax by the waterfall and have a picnic. In the evening, we will head back to Manali and explore the local markets.

  2. Day 2: Solang Valley
    30 minutes (13 km) from Manali

    In the morning, we will head to the Solang Valley and enjoy various adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (depending on the availability). In the afternoon, we can explore the valley and enjoy the beautiful views. In the evening, we will return to Manali and relax by the river Beas.

  3. Day 3: Hampta Pass Trek
    1 hour 20 minutes (42 km) from Manali

    In the morning, we will start our trek to the magnificent Hampta Pass. The trail is among the most scenic treks in the region and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, we will have lunch at the top of the Pass and descend back to the base camp. In the evening, we will relax by the campfire and enjoy a local dinner.

  4. Day 4: Rohtang Pass

    In the morning, we will drive to the famous Rohtang Pass. We will cross the Pass and reach the Lahaul Valley, which is a desert valley surrounded by mountains. In the afternoon, we will visit the beautiful and serene Chandratal Lake. In the evening, we will return to Manali and explore the local cafes and restaurants.

  5. Day 5: Old Manali
    10 minutes (3 km) from Manali

    In the morning, we will visit the peaceful and serene Manu Temple, located in Old Manali. We will also explore the traditional houses and cafes in the area. In the afternoon, we will visit the Vashisht Temple and take a dip in the natural hot springs. In the evening, we will enjoy a local meal and stroll around the beautiful town.

Other local attractions that you can consider are the Hadimba Temple, Manikaran Gurudwara, and the Great Himalayan National Park. You can also take a side trip to Kasol or Tirthan Valley.
