Welcome to Jammu! Arrive at Jammu Airport or Jammu Tawi Railway Station. From here, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
After a scenic drive of approximately 2 hours, you will reach Katra. Check-in at your hotel and refresh yourself before starting the trek.
Begin your spiritual journey by trekking towards the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi. The trek covers a distance of around 14 kilometers. You can choose to walk or hire a pony, palanquin, or helicopter services depending on your preference and fitness level.
After a steep and adventurous climb, you will reach the Vaishno Devi shrine. Seek blessings from the Divine Mother and offer your prayers. Spend some peaceful moments in the serene atmosphere of the temple complex.
Start your descent back to Katra. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes as you make your way down.
Arrive back in Katra and take some rest at your hotel. Indulge in a delicious dinner and prepare for a peaceful night's sleep.
