2-Day Cultural Immersion Itinerary from Hyderabad to Kadarnath in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Hyderabad to Vijayawada

    Evening: Reach Vijayawada and visit the Kanaka Durga Temple, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga. The temple is situated on the banks of the Krishna River and is known for the annual Dussehra festival. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and take a boat ride on the Krishna River.

  2. Day 2: Vijayawada to Kadarnath

    Morning: Start early and visit the Undavalli Caves, carved out of solid sandstone on a hillside. The caves have intricate carvings and are a great example of Indian rock-cut architecture.

    Afternoon: Head to the Amaravati Buddhist Site, which has several monuments and structures dating back to the 2nd century BCE. Explore the stupas, chaityas, and viharas that were once part of a thriving Buddhist community.

    Evening: Reach Kadarnath and visit the Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple is situated in the Himalayas and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Enjoy the scenic beauty and take a dip in the hot springs of Gaurikund.
