6-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary for Mysuru, Ooty, Coorg, and Wayanad

  1. Day 1: Mysuru
    2 hours and 30 minutes (86.3 miles) from Bangalore

    In the morning, visit the Mysore Palace, a grand palace that was the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and is now a museum. In the afternoon, take a ride to the nearby Chamundi Hill to see the Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the city. In the evening, stroll around the Brindavan Gardens and witness the musical fountain show.

  2. Day 2: Ooty
    4 hours and 30 minutes (128.1 miles) from Mysuru

    In the morning, ride to the Ooty Botanical Gardens to see a vast collection of exotic plants and trees. Then, take a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway to see stunning views of the surrounding hills. In the afternoon, visit the Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills, and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley. In the evening, visit the Ooty Lake and take a boat ride.

  3. Day 3: Coorg

  5. Day 5: Wayanad
    4 hours and 30 minutes (110.6 miles) from Coorg

    In the morning, visit the Edakkal Caves, a natural wonder with ancient petroglyphs. In the afternoon, visit the Pookode Lake, a beautiful natural freshwater lake. In the evening, visit the Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India, and take a boat ride.

  6. Day 6: Wayanad
    15 minutes (3.1 miles) from Day 5's last location

    In the morning, visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary and take a jeep safari to see the diverse flora and fauna. In the afternoon, visit the Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad, and trek to the heart-shaped lake. In the evening, visit the Soochipara Falls, a three-tiered waterfall with a pool at the bottom.
