  1. Day 1: Amber Fort
25 minutes (8.6 km) from Jaipur City Center

Amber Fort, also known as Amer Fort, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built-in the 16th century, it was once the residence of Rajput Maharajas. In the morning, you can take a guided tour of the fort to explore its beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, and spectacular views of Maota Lake. In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing to learn about traditional Indian hand printing techniques. In the evening, head to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort, to enjoy Rajasthani cultural performances and delicious local food.

  2. Day 2: Hawa Mahal and City Palace
10 minutes (3.3 km) from Amber Fort

Hawa Mahal is a unique five-story structure with 953 small windows called jharokhas, which were used by royal women to observe everyday life on the street without being seen. Start your day here and then visit the City Palace, the residence of the Jaipur royal family. The palace complex includes several museums with an impressive collection of royal costumes, weapons, and art. In the afternoon, head to Jantar Mantar and explore the world's largest stone astronomical observatory.
