Family-Friendly 3-Day Ujjain Itinerary in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple
    Located in the heart of Ujjain

    In the morning, visit the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India and a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and houses a massive statue of Nandi, the sacred bull. Afterward, have a traditional breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, head to the Kal Bhairav ​​Temple, situated just a few steps from the Mahakaleshwar Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairava, a fierce form of Lord Shiva. In the evening, take a stroll around the Ram Ghat, located on the banks of the Kshipra river and witness the Ganga Aarti.

    In the morning, visit the Mangalnath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Mangal (Mars).
