Kerala Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Kochi
    40 minutes (8.6 miles) from Cochin International Airport

    MORNING: Visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace and see the stunning murals depicting Hindu temple art. Stop by the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations.

    AFTERNOON: Walk along the Fort Kochi Beach and watch the Chinese fishing nets in action. Head to the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India and pay your respects to Vasco da Gama.

    EVENING: Take a sunset cruise on the backwaters of Kochi and enjoy the traditional Kathakali dance performance.

  2. Day 2: Munnar
    4 hours (89.5 miles) from Fort Kochi

    MORNING: Drive to Munnar and visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea in the region.

    AFTERNOON: Explore the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
