Early in the morning, we will start our journey from Pahalgam to Amarnath Cave. The cave is considered as one of the holiest shrines by the Hindus, and it is a great opportunity to experience their culture. The journey is usually covered by trekking or by a pony ride, and it takes around 4-5 hours. On arrival, we will take a rest and explore the surrounding area. We can also visit the nearby Bada Bazar or sip some local tea in nearby shops. In the evening, we will head back to Pahalgam.
In the morning, we will visit Pahalgam Golf Course. This beautiful golf course is situated in the heart of Pahalgam, and it is surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests. It is a great opportunity to learn about the sport and enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. Afternoon is the best time to visit the place as the weather is pleasant, and one can take their time to enjoy the views. Later in the evening, we can take a walk around the market to explore some local handicrafts.
We will start our day early in the morning and visit the Martand Sun Temple. It is located near Anantnag and is one of the most prominent historical monuments in Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is dedicated to the Surya or Sun God, and it is an excellent example of ancient architecture. After exploring the temple, we can visit the nearby Anantnag market to taste some of the local delicacies. Later in the evening, we will head back to Pahalgam.
On the last day of our trip, we will visit the Mamleshwar Temple. It is situated in the town of Pahalgam and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings. After exploring the temple, we can take a walk around the town and explore some local shops. In the evening, we can enjoy a traditional Kashmiri dinner and head back to our hotel.
If you have some more time, you can visit the nearby Aru Valley, which is known for its scenic beauty and snow-capped mountains. You can also try some adventure activities like river rafting or skiing. The Lidder River is a great spot for rafting, and the Apharwat peak is perfect for skiing. You can also visit the nearby Sheshnag Lake, which is known for its crystal-clear water and serene surroundings.
