7-Day Adventure Itinerary from Delhi to Kedarnath in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh

    In the morning, you will start your journey from Delhi to Rishikesh. Afternoon is the best time to explore the serene Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges. In the evening, enjoy the Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath

    Morning time is perfect to visit the Beatles Ashram for exploring street art and Beatles mural. In the afternoon, take a dip in the holy Ganges at Neer Garh waterfall. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

  3. Day 3: Joshimath to Auli
    1 hour (10 miles) from Joshimath

    Take a cable car ride to Auli in the morning for a panoramic view of the mountains. Take a trek to Gurso Bugyal for a scenic view of Trishul Peak. In the evening, return to Joshimath for an overnight stay.

  4. Day 4: Joshimath to Gaurikund

    Start your journey early morning to Gaurikund, the base camp for Kedarnath. En route, visit the ancient temple of Rudranath in Chamoli. In the evening, relax and rejuvenate at hot springs in Gaurikund.

  5. Day 5: Gaurikund to Kedarnath

    Start early morning trek to Kedarnath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. Seek blessings at Kedarnath temple and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. In the evening, return to Gaurikund for an overnight stay.

  6. Day 6: Gaurikund to Haridwar
    10 hours (170 miles) from Gaurikund

    Start early morning to Haridwar. En route, visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers which form Ganges. In the evening, visit the Har ki Pauri ghat for the famous Ganga aarti.

  7. Day 7: Haridwar to Delhi
    5 hours (150 miles) from Haridwar

    Before leaving Haridwar, take a dip in the holy Ganges at Har ki Pauri ghat. In the afternoon, visit the Mansa Devi temple via cable car. Return to Delhi in the evening, marking the end of your adventurous journey.
