3-Day Goa Itinerary in May 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (6.8 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Morning: Visit the historic Fort Aguada, built in the 17th century by the Portuguese to protect against Dutch and Maratha invasions. Explore the lighthouse and the fort's ramparts for scenic views of the Arabian Sea.

    Afternoon: Head to Candolim Beach, a popular spot for parasailing and water sports. Relax on the beach or grab a bite to eat at one of the many beach shacks.

    Evening: Take a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River. Enjoy live music, Goan cuisine and drinks as you watch the sun go down.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (10 km) from Fort Aguada

    Morning: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Admire the baroque architecture and the tomb of Saint Francis Xavier.

    Afternoon: Head to Anjuna Beach, famous for its Wednesday flea market. Browse through stalls selling everything from clothes to souvenirs and grab a bite to eat at one of the many food stalls.

    Evening: Experience the nightlife of Baga Beach. Dance the night away at one of the many beach bars or clubs.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours (60 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Morning: Take a trip to the spectacular Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool below the falls.

    Afternoon: Visit the spice plantations in Ponda. Take a tour of the plantation and learn about the various spices grown in the region. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch at the plantation.

    Evening: End your trip with a relaxing sunset on Palolem Beach. Take a stroll along the beach and watch the fishermen bring in their catch of the day.
