Ahmedabad to Kedarnath and Shimla Family Friendly Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath
    Flight from Ahmedabad to Dehradun (1h 50m) and then drive to Kedarnath (7h 30m)

    In the morning, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple is located in the Himalayas and is known for its stunning architecture and religious significance. Afternoon, trek to Vasuki Tal, a breathtaking lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. In the evening, relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this hilly town.

  2. Day 2: Shimla
    Drive from Kedarnath to Shimla (11h)

    In the morning, visit the Ridge, a large open space located in the center of Shimla. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from here. Afternoon, visit the Viceregal Lodge, an impressive colonial building that houses a museum showcasing the history of Shimla. In the evening, head to Mall Road for some shopping and dining.

  3. Day 3: Shimla
