4-Day Itinerary for Manali and Kasol in August 2024

  1. Day 1: Rohtang Pass
    1 hour (39.8 km) from Bhuntar Airport

    In the morning, we will head towards Rohtang Pass, one of the most visited destinations in Manali, known for its scenic beauty and adventure activities. You can enjoy snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling, as well as take a ride on the snow scooter. In the afternoon, we will visit the nearby Solang Valley, where you can enjoy paragliding and zorbing. In the evening, we will head back to Manali and visit the Hadimba Devi Temple.

  2. Day 2: Manikaran and Tosh Village
    1 hour 30 minutes (43.9 km) from Manali

    In the morning, we will drive to Manikaran, a famous pilgrimage site known for its hot springs, temples, and scenic beauty. You can take a dip in the hot springs, visit the holy Gurudwara, and enjoy the local food. In the afternoon, we will head towards Tosh Village, a beautiful and peaceful village known for its trekking trails and scenic views. You can enjoy a trek to the Tosh Glacier, which offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. In the evening, we will return to our hotel in Manali.

  3. Day 3: Kheerganga Trek
    1 hour 30 minutes (22.3 km) from Kasol

    In the morning, we will drive to Barshaini, the starting point of the Kheerganga Trek. It is a beautiful trek through lush green forests, waterfalls, and scenic views of the Parvati Valley. You can take a dip in the hot water springs at the top and enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, we will trek back to Barshaini and drive to Kasol. In the evening, you can explore the local markets and cafes in Kasol.

  4. Day 4: Malana Village
    1 hour 20 minutes (21.7 km) from Kasol

    In the morning, we will drive to Malana Village, a beautiful and mysterious village known for its unique culture, history, and architecture. You can explore the village, interact with the locals, and learn about their customs and traditions. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Kasol and visit the Parvati River and the Chalal Trek. In the evening, we will head back to Bhuntar Airport for your departure.

Recommendations

If you have more time, you can also visit Naggar Castle, Bijli Mahadev Temple, and the Great Himalayan National Park. For side trips, you can visit the nearby towns of Kullu, Manesar, and Mandi.
