3-Day Meghalaya Itinerary for July 2023

  1. Day 1: Shillong
    45 minutes (9.5 km) from Umroi Airport

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Laitlum Canyons for breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Take a trek to explore the beauty of this place.
    Afternoon: Head to the Police Bazaar for shopping and enjoy local food. Don't miss the street food of Shillong.

  2. Day 2: Dawki and Mawlynnong
    2 hours 15 minutes (80 km) from Shillong

    Morning: Start your journey to Dawki and enjoy the scenic drive. Visit the Dawki Bridge, a suspension bridge over the Umngot River, and take a boat ride in the crystal clear waters.
    Afternoon: Head to Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village, and explore the beautiful village. Don't miss the living root bridge and skywalk.
    Evening: Head back to Shillong and stop at the gorgeous Krangsuri Falls on your way.

  3. Day 3: Cherrapunjee
