Exploring Goa's Nature in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (44 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Begin your day by visiting Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is the highest waterfall in Goa and is surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy the serene beauty and take a refreshing dip in the cold water.

    Afternoon: Visit the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary which is a biodiversity hotspot and has a wide range of flora and fauna. Take a jungle safari and spot a variety of animals such as tigers, leopards, bison and deer.

    Evening: Head to Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple which is situated in the forest and is one of the oldest temples in Goa. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a beautiful example of Kadamba-Yadava architecture.

  2. Day 2: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour 10 minutes (20 miles) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Morning: Begin your day by visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary which is a paradise for bird watchers. Observe various species of birds and take a boat ride through the mangroves.

    Afternoon: Visit the Spice Plantations which are located nearby and take a tour of the plantation to learn about various spices. Enjoy a traditional Goan lunch and enjoy the beauty of the plantation.

    Evening: Head to Dona Paula Beach for a sunset view and to relax on the beach.

  3. Day 3: Mollem National Park
    1 hour 10 minutes (25 miles) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    Morning: Begin your day by visiting the Mollem National Park which is known for its biodiversity. Take a trek to the Tambdi Surla Waterfalls and enjoy the natural beauty along the way.

    Afternoon: Visit the Mahadev Temple which is situated within the park and is surrounded by dense forests. Explore the caves around the temple and enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings.

    Evening: Head to Palolem Beach for a relaxing evening and to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Do not miss a visit to the beautiful Arvalem Caves which are a group of five Hindu caves situated in North Goa. Enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Goa by visiting some of the famous clubs and pubs. Take a side trip to the Dudhsagar Plantations and learn about the cultivation of various fruits and spices.
