In the afternoon, visit Thiksey Monastery, which features an impressive statue of Maitreya Buddha. In the evening, go for a walk in the nearby village and experience the local life.

  3. Day 3: Magnetic Hill and Sangam Valley
    1 hour (30km) from Leh Main Bazaar

    In the morning, visit Magnetic Hill, a gravity hill that appears to defy gravity and pull cars uphill. In the afternoon, visit Sangam Valley, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. You can also do rafting in the Zanskar River. In the evening, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a Sikh temple built in 1517 AD.

  4. Day 4: Nubra Valley
