4-Day Itinerary for Goa in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore the Beaches
    40 minutes (18.4 km) from Dabolim International Airport

    Spend your morning at the Baga Beach. The beach is famous for its nightlife, beach shacks, and water sports activities. Have lunch at one of the beach shacks or restaurants. Visit the Aguada Fort in the afternoon which offers a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea. In the evening, head to Anjuna Beach to watch the sunset and enjoy the street shopping.

  2. Day 2: Explore the Historic Places
    30 minutes (13.8 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in India. Next, visit the Se Cathedral which is the largest church in Asia. Have lunch and head to the Shri Manguesh Temple which is one of the most visited temples in Goa. End your day by visiting the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas in Panaji, which is a vibrant neighborhood with colorful houses and cafes.

  3. Day 3: Wildlife and Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (60.7 km) from Panaji

    Start your day by visiting the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to many species of flora and fauna. Next, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is one of the tallest and most beautiful waterfalls in India. Have lunch and head to the Salaulim Dam which is a scenic spot for a sunset view. End your day by visiting the Mollem National Park which is famous for its treks and hikes.

  4. Day 4: Local Markets and Museums
    25 minutes (7.3 km) from Mollem National Park

    Spend your morning at the Mapusa Friday Market which is a bustling market with fresh produce, spices, and souvenirs. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants and head to the Goa State Museum in the afternoon which showcases the history and culture of Goa. In the evening, head to the Tito's Lane in Baga to experience the nightlife and party scene in Goa.

Don't miss out on the Old Goa Churches, the Mangrove forests of Goa, and the local food at the street stalls. Take a side trip to the Dudh Sagar Plantation to experience the spice plantation and go on a guided tour of the plantation.
