The Naida Caves are natural caves located outside the city walls of Diu near Jalandhar Beach. The caves are a network of tunnels and square chambers carved out of the rocks by the Portuguese. In the morning, explore the dark caves and see the colorful lights illuminating the formations. In the afternoon, head to Jalandhar Beach for some adventurous water sports like parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides. In the evening, watch the beautiful sunset at the beach and relax.
The Gangeshwar Temple is a unique temple located near the sea on the way to Chakratirth Beach. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has five shivlings that are washed by the waves of the Arabian Sea during high tide. In the morning, visit the temple and witness the shivlings getting bathed by the sea waves. After that, head to Chakratirth Beach for some more water sports like scuba diving and snorkeling. In the evening, visit the Diu Fort, explore its history and see the beautiful view of the sea from the fort.
Don't miss out on visiting the INS Khukri Memorial, St. Paul's Church, and Diu Museum. You can also take a day trip to the nearby Gir National Park or Somnath Temple in Gujarat.
