5-Day Itinerary in Goa (July 2023)

  1. Day 1: Aguada Fort
    25 minutes (8.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Explore the historical Aguada Fort in the morning to avoid the heat. It was built in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas. Take a stroll around the fort and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, head to Candolim Beach, grab a bite to eat, soak up the sun or go for a swim. In the evening, visit LPK Waterfront and enjoy the music, dance and drinks.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (78 km) from Aguada Fort

    Embark on a journey to witness the majestic Dudhsagar Falls. It is one of the highest waterfalls in India and a sight to behold. Make sure to carry your swimwear to take a refreshing dip in the cool waters. In the afternoon, head to Spice Plantation and take a tour of the farm. Learn about the spice cultivation process, and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. In the evening, head to Baga Beach and enjoy the beach nightlife.

  3. Day 3: Se Cathedral
    1 hour (32 km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Visit the Se Cathedral in the morning, which is one of the largest churches in Asia. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an excellent example of the Portuguese-Manueline style of architecture. In the afternoon, head to Anjuna Beach and soak up the sun, grab a drink or go shopping at the flea market. In the evening, head to Thalassa and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

  4. Day 4: Chapora Fort
    30 minutes (10 km) from Se Cathedral

    Visit the Chapora Fort in the morning, which became famous after the Bollywood movie Dil Chahta Hai. The fort offers a panoramic view of the Vagator Beach and the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon, head to Arambol Beach, which is a serene beach with black sand. Grab a bite to eat, go for a swim or just relax on the beach. In the evening, head to Club Cubana and enjoy the nightlife.

  5. Day 5: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour 10 minutes (28 km) from Chapora Fort

    Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in the morning, which is a paradise for bird watchers. Take a boat ride and explore the mangroves, spot different species of birds and enjoy the lush greenery. In the afternoon, head to Miramar Beach, which is one of the popular beaches in Goa. Grab a snack, enjoy a horse ride or go for a swim. In the evening, head to Casino Royale and try your luck at the casino.
