Exploring Junagadh with Adventure in August 2023

In the afternoon, visit the Jain temples at the foothills, which are a must-see for architecture enthusiasts. In the evening, you can explore the local markets for souvenirs, handcrafted items & street food.

  2. Day 2: Mohabbat Maqbara Palace
    20 minutes (7.6 km) from Girnar Hills

    In the morning, head to the Mohabbat Maqbara Palace, a grand palace with an intricate architecture that has earned it the nickname 'Taj Mahal of Gujarat.' Spend the morning exploring its grandeur, then grab lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, head to the Sakkarbaug Zoological Garden, which is a great place to spot wildlife including lions, tigers, and other exotic animals. In the evening, head to the Uparkot Fort, a 2300-year-old fort that offers a panoramic view of the city.
