4-Day Itinerary for Haridwar Rishikesh Kedarnath in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Haridwar
    30 minutes (19.4 km) from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun

    In the morning, visit Har Ki Pauri, a famous ghat on the banks of River Ganga, for a dip in the holy water and attend the Ganga Aarti, a beautiful ritual that is held every evening at the ghat. Afternoon can be spent visiting the Mansa Devi Temple, which can be accessed via a cable car from the base station. In the evening, enjoy the local street food and explore the local markets.

  2. Day 2: Rishikesh
    1 hour 30 minutes (43.7 km) from Haridwar

    In the morning, visit the iconic Laxman Jhula, a suspension bridge over the River Ganga. You can also visit the Beatles Ashram, a spiritual retreat where the Beatles stayed in 1968. In the afternoon, visit the Neer Garh Waterfall or take a dip in the Ganga at Triveni Ghat. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan.

  3. Day 3: Kedarnath
    7 hours (229.8 km) from Rishikesh

    Take a helicopter or trek to Kedarnath Temple, one of the four holiest shrines in Hinduism. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is nestled amidst the beautiful Himalayan range. Spend the day exploring the temple and the surrounding area. Stay overnight in Kedarnath or return to Rishikesh.

  4. Day 4: Rishikesh
    7 hours (229.8 km) from Kedarnath

    In the morning, visit Swarg Ashram, a tranquil ashram located on the banks of the River Ganga. You can also visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, try adventurous activities like river rafting or bungee jumping. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.
