Bengaluru Wonderla Family Friendly 3-Day Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Wonderla Amusement Park
    Located in Mysore Road, 1 hour (20 km) from Bengaluru.

    Start your day with high adrenaline at Wonderla Amusement Park, which has more than 60 thrilling rides and attractions, suitable for all ages. Try the Recoil, a reverse looping roller coaster, or the Equinox, a giant arm ride that spins 360 degrees. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, there are water rides, boat rides, and wave pools. Don't forget to refuel at one of the many snack bars and restaurants available within the park.

  2. Day 2: Vidhana Soudha and Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    Vidhana Soudha is located in Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, 30 minutes (10 km) from Wonderla Amusement Park. Lalbagh Botanical Garden is located in Lalbagh Road, 20 minutes (8 km) from Vidhana Soudha.

    In the morning, visit Vidhana Soudha, a magnificent building that houses the state legislature and secretariat. It is an iconic landmark of Bengaluru, with its grand architecture and illuminated facade. Afterward, make your way to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a serene oasis in the heart of the city. The garden has a variety of plants, trees, and flowers, including a 200-year-old banyan tree and a stunning glasshouse. You can also take a leisurely walk around the lake and enjoy the fresh air.

    In the afternoon, head to Commercial Street, a bustling shopping district, for some retail therapy.     Spend your morning at Bannerghatta Biological Park, a zoological reserve that houses a variety of animals, including tigers, lions, elephants, and bears. You can take a safari tour to see them up close, or visit the butterfly park, reptile park, and aviary. Afterward, have lunch at one of the nearby restaurants.

    In the afternoon, head to Bangalore Palace, a stunning palace built in Tudor style, which is now open to the public. The palace has ornate interiors, a sprawling garden, and a collection of artifacts and paintings. Afterward, you can stroll around the palace grounds and enjoy the view. End your day with a dinner at one of the many restaurants in Indiranagar or Koramangala, two popular food districts in Bengaluru.

If you have extra time, you can visit the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Cubbon Park, or the ISKCON Temple. For a side trip, you can visit the nearby town of Mysore, which has a rich cultural heritage and is known for its palaces and museums.
