Exploring Goa in May 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    15 minutes (5.5 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Morning: Start your day by exploring Fort Aguada. This seventeenth-century fort is an architectural marvel that offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. After spending a couple of hours at the fort, head to the nearby Sinquerim Beach for a relaxing afternoon. Take a dip in the sea, try some water sports or just soak in the sun.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at one of the shacks on Sinquerim Beach and enjoy the sea views while relishing Goan delicacies. Post-lunch, explore the nearby Candolim Beach, which is known for its lively atmosphere and water sports.

    Evening: Watch the sunset at Candolim Beach and later head to the nearby Club LPK (Love Passion Karma) Waterfront for a night of music and dancing.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (42.5 miles) from Sinquerim Beach

    Morning: Wake up early and embark on a scenic drive to Dudhsagar Waterfalls. This majestic waterfall is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and is best witnessed in the morning. Take a refreshing swim in the natural pool formed by the waterfall and admire the stunning views of the lush greenery around.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at one of the local restaurants near the waterfalls. Post-lunch, head to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Take a safari ride through the sanctuary and spot different animals like deer, bison, and peacocks.

    Evening: Return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the evening. Alternatively, head to a nearby beach and enjoy some seafood while watching the beautiful sunset.

Apart from the places mentioned above, you can consider visiting the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, which is known for its colorful houses and Portuguese architecture.
