In the morning, visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi, dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, take a scenic trek to the Vasuki Tal, a high altitude lake located at the base of Mount Satopanth.
In the morning, visit the Koteshwar Mahadev Temple in Rudraprayag, also dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, visit the ancient temple of Dhari Devi, one of the 108 Shakti Peethas in India.
In the morning, drive to Chopta, a beautiful hill station and trek to the Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. In the afternoon, visit the Deoria Tal, a serene lake surrounded by lush green forests.
Check out from your hotel and depart for your journey back home.
If you have an extra day, you can visit the Shankaracharya Samadhi in Kedarnath. You can also take a helicopter ride to get a bird's eye view of the majestic Himalayas. Side trips to Badrinath and Yamunotri temples are also highly recommended if you have additional days. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine such as Kumaoni Raita, Bhang ki Khatai, and Bal Mithai. Finally, don't forget to carry a good pair of trekking shoes and warm clothes as the temperature can get really cold in the evenings.
