The palace features beautiful murals depicting Hindu epic stories and exhibits a variety of ancient weapons used by the royal family. The morning visit to the palace is a great way to learn about the history of the region. Afternoon, you can try the traditional Kerala cuisine at nearby restaurants. In the evening, explore the Jew Town and shop for souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Hill Palace Museum
    30 minutes (12 km) from Mattancherry Palace

    Hill Palace Museum is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. This palace complex was once the residence of the Maharaja of Kochi.
