Four-Day Itinerary for "Alleppey" in July 2023 with a Focus on Nature

  1. Day 1: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
    45 minutes (16.4 km) from Alleppey

    In the morning, we will visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. You will get to see a variety of rare birds in their natural habitat. After lunch, we will take a boat ride to explore the backwaters of Alleppey. In the evening, we will visit Marari Beach and watch the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Vembanad Lake
    30 minutes (11.5 km) from Alleppey

    In the morning, we will take a houseboat ride on Vembanad Lake. You will get to see the beautiful views of the lake and its surroundings. Afternoon, we will visit the Pathiramanal Island, which is a small island in the middle of the lake. In the evening, we will visit the Punnamada Lake and watch the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race (August 12, 2023).

  3. Day 3: Arthunkal Beach
    30 minutes (12.3 km) from Alleppey

    In the morning, we will visit Arthunkal Beach. It is a beautiful and peaceful beach with clear water. Afternoon, we will visit the Alleppey Beach and enjoy various water activities like surfing, kayaking etc. In the evening, we will visit the Alappuzha Lighthouse and enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

  4. Day 4: Revi Karunakaran Museum
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Alleppey

    In the morning, we will visit the Revi Karunakaran Museum, which showcases the traditional lifestyle and culture of Kerala. Afternoon, we will visit the Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, one of the most famous temples in Kerala. In the evening, we will take a stroll through the Alleppey Canal and enjoy the local street food.
