5-Day Itinerary for Anjuna, Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Anjuna Beach
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Mapusa City

    Start your day at the Anjuna Beach, where you can enjoy the sea and sand, along with various water sports activities. In the afternoon, head to Curlies Shack, a popular beachfront restaurant, and try out local cuisine. End your day by exploring the flea market, where you can shop for souvenirs and trinkets.

  2. Day 2: Visit Fort Aguada and Chapora Fort
    40 minutes (16 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Fort Aguada, which is a 17th-century Portuguese fort. After that, head to the Chapora Fort and admire the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the Vagator Beach. In the evening, head to the Shiva Valley, a popular nightclub in Goa.

  3. Day 3: Visit St. Cajetan's Church and Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour (30 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Spend your morning at the St. Cajetan's Church, which was built in the 17th century in Baroque style. After that, head to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa, which houses the relics of St. Francis Xavier. In the evening, explore the Latin Quarter of Goa, known as Fontainhas.

  4. Day 4: Visit Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantations
    2 hours (70 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India and surrounded by lush greenery. After that, head to the spice plantations and take a guided tour to learn about various spices and their uses. In the evening, head back to Anjuna and explore the German Bakery.

  5. Day 5: Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Reis Magos Fort
    50 minutes (22 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Start your day by visiting the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, which is situated on the western tip of the island of Chorão. After that, head to the Reis Magos Fort, which was built in the 16th century and overlooks the Arabian Sea. In the evening, head to Baga Beach and enjoy the nightlife.
