2-Day Itinerary for Kodaikonal in May 2023

  1. Day 1: Bryant Park
    10 minutes (1.3 miles) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    For the morning, start at Bryant Park. It opens at 8:00 AM and is a wonderfully maintained botanical garden with a wide variety of flowers and trees. There is also a greenhouse showcasing some beautiful orchids. In the afternoon, head to Coaker's Walk, a 0.5-mile paved pedestrian path along the edge of the mountain. The walk offers beautiful views of the valleys around Kodaikanal. For the evening, visit Kodaikanal Lake, a man-made lake surrounded by lush greenery and a perfect spot for a relaxing boat ride.

  2. Day 2: Pine Forest, Pillar Rocks, and Guna Caves
    30 minutes (7.6 miles) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    For the morning, head to Pine Forest, a serene forest with tall pine trees and a popular spot for photography. It's an ideal place to relax and soak in the natural beauty. In the afternoon, visit Pillar Rocks, a set of three giant rock pillars standing tall at a height of 400 feet. There is also a small garden nearby to relax in. For the evening, visit Guna Caves, a popular tourist spot known for its narrow caves and steep hikes. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding areas.
