Recommendations

Other local attractions worth considering are the Reis Magos Fort, Aguada Fort and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. If you have more time, you can also take a day trip to the beautiful beaches of South Goa or visit the historic churches and temples in the state. To maximize your fun, try to plan your trip during the monsoon season (June to September), when Goa is at its most beautiful and the tourist crowds are smaller.
