Public transportation is not always available, so we recommend renting a car or hiring a taxi to reach the attractions. Costs vary depending on the season, but expect to spend around €100 to €250 per week for car rental and around €65 per taxi ride for shorter distances.
If you have less time, skip the Gozo Island Jeep Safari and Calypso Cave excursion or combine the Valletta City Walk and St. John's Co-Cathedral with the Scuba Diving in Cirkewwa. If you have more time, consider adding a day trip to the Blue Grotto, another fantastic swimming and snorkeling spot in the South of Malta, or a sunset helicopter tour of the island.
