Relaxing 3-Day Itinerary for Macleodganj in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Bhagsu Waterfall

  2. Day 2: Triund Trek
    20 minutes (3.2 miles) from Main Square

    Embark on an adventurous trek to the Triund Hill. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lush green forests and snow-capped peaks. Carry packed lunch and water bottles and take a short break at the Magic View Cafe for some refreshments. Spend the night camping under the stars at Triund Hill and cherish the breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.

  3. Day 3: Namgyal Monastery

Later, head to the nearby St. John in the Wilderness Church, famous for its neo-Gothic style. Spend the evening enjoying a peaceful walk around the serene Dal Lake and end the day with a hot cup of tea at the nearby cafes.

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Kangra Fort, Masrur Rock Cut Temple or the Norbulingka Institute. A side trip to Palampur, a picturesque hill station famous for its tea plantations, is also highly recommended.
