Family-Friendly 3-Day Itinerary for Nuwara Eliya

  1. Day 1: Victoria Park

In the evening, head over to "Grand Indian" restaurant for a delicious dinner of authentic Indian cuisine.

  2. Day 2: Pedro Tea Factory
    20 minutes (4.5 miles) from Nuwara Eliya City Centre

    Start your day by visiting the Pedro Tea Factory and Estate, where you can learn about the history of tea, the process of tea making, and sample some of the best teas in Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, visit the Gregory Lake Park where there are plenty of activities such as boat rides, horse riding, and pony rides.   3. Day 3: Horton Plains National Park
    1 hour 30 minutes (39.5 miles) from Nuwara Eliya City Centre

    Start your day early by visiting the beautiful Horton Plains National Park. The park is home to an array of wildlife, including sambar deer, wild boar, and many different bird species. The highlight of the park is the World's End viewpoint, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon, visit the Seetha Amman Temple, which is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. You can also stop by Ramboda Falls on the way back to Nuwara Eliya. In the evening, head over to the "Grand Indian" restaurant for some more delicious Indian cuisine.

If you have some extra time, you can visit the St. Clair's Falls, which is located about 20 minutes away from Nuwara Eliya. This is a beautiful waterfall that is perfect for taking pictures.
