3-Day Itinerary for Manali in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit to Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Manali

    In the morning, visit the Vashisht Temple, dedicated to Sage Vashisht, one of the seven sages of Hindu religion. The temple is believed to be more than 4000 years old and is famous for its hot water springs, which are said to have medicinal benefits. Take a dip in the hot springs to relax your muscles and rejuvenate your body. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the Old Manali market and shop for souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at one of the many cafes near the market.

  2. Day 2: Trek to Jogini Waterfalls
    25 minutes (7.1 km) from Manali

    In the morning, start your trek to Jogini Waterfalls, which is located in the Vashisht village. The trek takes about 2 hours and covers a distance of about 4 km. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and is a popular picnic spot. Take a dip in the cool water and enjoy the picturesque view. In the afternoon, visit the Manu Temple, dedicated to Sage Manu, who is considered to be the creator of the world in Hindu mythology. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Himachali dinner at one of the local restaurants.

  3. Day 3: Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley
    1 hour 15 minutes (52.3 km) from Manali

    In the morning, leave early for the Rohtang Pass, which is located at an altitude of 3978 meters. Enjoy the stunning view of the snow-capped mountains and the beautiful landscape. The pass is only open from May to November, so make sure to plan accordingly. In the afternoon, head to the Solang Valley, which is famous for its adventure activities such as paragliding, zorbing, and skiing. If you are not interested in adventure sports, you can take a cable car ride to enjoy the view of the valley. In the evening, return to Manali and explore the local markets.
