Two-Day Adventure Itinerary for Indore in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Patalpani Waterfall
    30 minutes (14.2 km) from Indore City Center

    Start your adventure with a visit to the Patalpani Waterfall. A 300-feet high waterfall, located in the midst of a dense forest, is a perfect place for a morning hike. The waterfall is a popular picnic spot among the locals. You can take a dip in the natural pool at the base of the waterfall. Afternoon is a perfect time to explore the nearby trekking trails. In the evening, you can relax by the waterfall and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Mandu
    1 hour 45 minutes (95.5 km) from Patalpani Waterfall

    For the second day, explore the historic city of Mandu. The city is known for its Afghan architecture and rich history. Start your day by visiting the Jahaz Mahal, a ship-like palace that was used as a harem for Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din Khilji. In the afternoon, you can visit the Hindola Mahal, a palace known for its sloping walls, and the Jami Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Spend your evening at the Rupmati Pavilion, a beautiful palace with stunning views of the surrounding valley.

Indore is famous for its street food. Don't forget to try local delicacies, such as poha, jalebi, and chaat.
