Start your day by visiting one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the Mahakaleshwar Temple, which is believed to be the only Jyotirlinga facing south. Attend the Bhasma Aarti which is performed every morning at 4:00 am. Post that, explore the temple complex and learn about the history and mythology of the temple. In the afternoon, visit Chintaman Ganesh Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Ujjain. In the evening, take a stroll along the Kshipra River and attend the evening Aarti at the Ramghat.
In the morning, visit the Kal Bhairav Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva's terrifying form, Bhairav. Afterward, make your way to Sandipani Ashram, a center for Vedic Studies. Participate in the Vedic chanting and learn about ancient Indian traditions. In the afternoon, visit the Vedh Shala Observatory, which is one of the oldest observatories in India. In the evening, head to the Harsiddhi Temple and attend the evening Aarti.
In the morning, visit the ISKCON Temple, which is famous for its beautiful architecture and spiritual atmosphere. Participate in the morning Aarti and enjoy the prasadam (sacred food). Then, make your way to the Vikram Kirti Mandir, a museum dedicated to the life and works of the legendary king, Vikramaditya. In the afternoon, visit the Gadkalika Temple, which is a beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. In the evening, attend the Aarti at the Mangalnath Temple, which is one of the eight most sacred places of Lord Shiva.
If you have time, you can also visit the Bhartrihari Caves, which are believed to be the meditation spot of Bhartrihari, who is said to have been the stepbrother of King Vikramaditya. Additionally, you can take a side trip to the nearby city of Indore, which is known for its street food, shopping, and the Lalbagh Palace.
