Diu Bachelor Party Itinerary - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Nagoa Beach
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Diu Airport

    Morning: Start your day with beach volleyball or football at Nagoa Beach, which is known for its golden sand and clear water. You can also indulge in water sports like banana boat ride, parasailing and jet skiing. They have trained professionals who ensure your safety.

    Afternoon: Head to the Naida Caves, a natural geological formation consisting of interconnected tunnels and holes. These caves have a unique shape and are perfect for taking pictures and exploring.

    Evening: End the day with a relaxed evening by enjoying the sunset at Chakratirth beach and have a bonfire night. The beach has a lively vibe with local vendors selling food, drinks, and souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Diu Fort and Gangeshwar Temple
    10 minutes (3 km) from Nagoa Beach

    Morning: Start your day by visiting Diu Fort, which is a majestic structure built during the Portuguese rule. The fort has various attractions like a lighthouse, museum, and a chapel. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the sea from the fort.

    Afternoon: Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at one of the local restaurants and head to the Gangeshwar Temple. The temple has five shivlings, and it is believed that Pandavas built them during the Mahabharata era. The temple is located near the sea, and the view from the temple is breathtaking.

    Evening: End the day with a nightlife experience at The Studio Club. They have an in-house DJ, and the ambiance is perfect for a bachelor party. They also have an in-house restaurant that serves lip-smacking food and drinks.

Recommendations

If you have more time, do visit INS Khukri Memorial, Panikotha Fort, and St. Paul's Church. You can also take a ferry from Diu to Vanakbara and explore the fishing villages.

For side trips, you can visit Gir National Park or Sasan Gir, which is a two-hour drive from Diu. You can also go on a day trip to Somnath, which is famous for its Somnath Temple.

To maximize your fun, do try local cuisine like seafood, Gujarati thali, and street food like khaman dhokla and fafda. Try local beer like 8th wonder and Lion.
