Three-day Cultural Immersion Itinerary for Somnath Temple Gujarat in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Somnath Temple

  2. Day 2: Gir National Park

    Spend your morning exploring the Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the rare and endangered Asiatic lions. Enjoy a jeep safari to witness various species of birds, animals, and reptiles in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit the Kankai Mata Temple, situated inside the jungle, to seek blessings from the deity. In the evening, head to the Devalia Safari Park, which is situated outside the national park and offers thrilling lion and deer safari experiences.

  3. Day 3: Diu Island
    Located 1 hour 20 minutes (58 km) from Somnath Temple

    On your last day, head to Diu Island, which is known for its Portuguese architecture, pristine beaches, and serene atmosphere. In the morning, visit the Diu Fort and St. Paul's Church, both of which offer stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Afternoon, spend time at the Nagoa Beach, one of the most popular beaches on the island, and indulge in some water sports activities. In the evening, visit the Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, which is located on the rocky shore of the island and is famous for its five lingas that are constantly washed by the waves.
