Kerala Family-Friendly 6-Day Itinerary for November 2023

  1. Day 1: Kochi
    40 minutes (28.3 km) from Cochin International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, which was built in the 16th century.     Go on a morning trek in the Eravikulam National Park and spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea in the region and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea. In the evening, visit the Top Station to see the sunset over the Western Ghats.

  3. Day 3: Thekkady

    In the morning, take a boat ride on the Periyar Lake to see the wildlife in the Periyar National Park. Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting Wayanad to explore the hills, forests, and wildlife. You can also visit the Athirapally Waterfalls, which is one of the largest waterfalls in Kerala. To maximize your fun, try some local delicacies like puttu, appam, and kappa with fish curry. Make sure to also try the famous toddy, a local alcoholic beverage made from coconut sap.
