4-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Dehradun in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Robber's Cave
    10 minutes (4.8 km) from Dehradun Railway Station

    Start your morning with a 2-km trek to Robber's Cave, also known as Gucchupani. This natural cave formation is surrounded by hills, and the river flowing through the cave adds to its beauty. You can take a refreshing dip in the cold water or just enjoy the scenic views. After lunch, visit the nearby Sahastradhara, a beautiful waterfall with therapeutic value.   2. Day 2: Forest Research Institute and Tapkeshwar Temple

    In the morning, visit the Forest Research Institute, an institute for forestry research and education spread across 450 hectares of lush greenery.   4. Day 4: Rajaji National Park

    On your last day, visit the Rajaji National Park, a vast wildlife reserve that is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, and many other animals. Take a jeep safari through the park and enjoy the scenic views of the Shivalik range. After lunch, visit the nearby Har Ki Dun, a picturesque valley that is great for trekking and camping. End your day with some souvenir shopping and a delicious dinner at one of the local restaurants.
