A 4-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    30 minutes (13.7 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day by visiting the beautiful Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, followed by a stroll through the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, where you can see the brightly coloured Portuguese-style houses. In the afternoon, visit the Goa State Museum to learn about the region's rich history and culture. In the evening, head to Miramar Beach to enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Old Goa and Spice Plantation
    30 minutes (11.8 km) from Panaji

    Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa, which was once a colonial capital, and see the magnificent Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus. In the afternoon, visit a spice plantation and take a guided tour to learn about the various spices grown in the region. Top off the day with a relaxing ayurvedic massage.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (60.9 km) from Old Goa

    Take a day trip to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, and enjoy a refreshing swim. After that, head to Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary to see a variety of animals, birds and reptiles in their natural habitat. If you have time, stop by the Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple on your way back.

  4. Day 4: Beach Hopping and Nightlife
    1 hour 10 minutes (29.2 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    Spend the day hopping from one beach to another, starting with the popular Baga Beach and then moving on to the quieter Anjuna Beach. In the evening, head to Tito's Lane in Baga to experience Goa's famous nightlife, with a variety of bars and clubs playing everything from techno to Bollywood music.

Don't miss the chance to take a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River, go scuba diving in the Arabian Sea, or try some of the delicious Goan cuisine, which is a fusion of Indian and Portuguese flavours. For a side trip, visit the peaceful and scenic village of Divar Island, which is only a short ferry ride from Old Goa. To maximise your fun, plan your activities ahead of time and stay hydrated in the hot and humid weather.
