3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Shimogha in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Jog Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (46.7 miles) from Shimogha city

    In the morning, head to the magnificent Jog Falls, the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. Take a boat ride to the base of the falls and feel the mist on your face. After lunch, visit the nearby Linganamakki Dam, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and backwaters. In the evening, relax and watch the sunset at the nearby sunset point.

  2. Day 2: Kudroli Gokarnath Temple and Udupi Beach
    1 hour 50 minutes (42.7 miles) from Jog Falls

    Start the day by visiting the Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, a beautiful Hindu temple with stunning architecture. After lunch, head to Udupi Beach, a calm and serene beach perfect for families. Take a dip in the sea, build sandcastles, and enjoy some snacks from the local vendors. In the evening, visit the nearby Malpe Beach and watch the sunset.

  3. Day 3: Kudremukh National Park and Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary

In the evening, return to Shimogha.
