Four-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    25 minutes (11.7 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the historic Fort Aguada, which was built in the 17th century to protect against Dutch and Maratha invasions. Take a guided tour to learn about its rich history and breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Afternoon, head to the nearby Sinquerim Beach and indulge in water activities like snorkeling, jet skiing, and parasailing. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing stroll on the beach, grab a drink at one of the shacks and enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Reis Magos Fort
    30 minutes (14.4 km) from Sinquerim Beach

    Begin your day by exploring the Reis Magos Fort, one of the oldest forts in Goa. It's famous for its grand architecture and for being a prominent defense point against enemy attacks. In the afternoon, visit the Anjuna Flea Market, which offers a plethora of exciting shopping options. You can buy souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, and handicrafts. In the evening, head to Baga Beach, which is known for its vibrant nightlife with live music, dance, and plenty of food and drinks options.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 20 minutes (75.5 km) from Baga Beach

    Set out early for a day trip to the majestic Dudhsagar Falls, which is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River. You can trek through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park to reach the falls and enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pool. The trek takes around 4 hours, so make sure you carry enough water and wear appropriate footwear. In the evening, head back to your resort and relax on the beach or by the pool.

  4. Day 4: Old Goa
    1 hour 10 minutes (25.8 km) from your resort

    On your last day, visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Old Goa. It's famous for its rich history, architecture, and religious significance. You can visit the Se Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and St. Francis of Assisi Church. In the afternoon, visit the Bigfoot Museum and the nearby spice plantations to get a glimpse of the local culture and history. In the evening, head to Panjim City to enjoy the beautiful view of the Mandovi River and indulge in some local Goan cuisine.

You can also take a day trip to the nearby state of Karnataka to visit the Gokarna Beaches.
