4-Day Itinerary for Shillong in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures
    15 minutes (3.2 km) from Shillong Peak

    In the morning, head to the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, a seven-story museum showcasing the different cultures and traditions of the northeast region of India. Take a guided tour to learn about the exhibits, which include photographs, artifacts, and audiovisual displays. In the afternoon, visit the Wards Lake, a beautiful man-made lake surrounded by gardens and walking trails. Spend some time boating or feeding the fish. In the evening, head to Barbeque Nation for a delicious buffet.

  2. Day 2: Elephant Falls
    20 minutes (12 km) from Shillong Peak

    In the morning, visit the Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and rock formations. Take a walk around the area to enjoy the scenic beauty.
