9:30 AM: Mullayanagiri Peak

First stop is Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest peak in Karnataka. Enjoy a scenic drive to the peak and then a short hike to the top. The mesmerizing views from the summit are worth the effort. Spend about 2-3 hours here. Entry is free.

1:00 PM: Jhari Waterfalls

Next, head to Jhari Waterfalls, a hidden gem nestled in the lush Western Ghats. Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters or simply relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. The entry fee is INR 50 per person, and you can spend around 2-3 hours here.

4:00 PM: Hire a Jeep for Kemmanagundi

After Jhari Waterfalls, hire a jeep for approximately INR 1500 and make your way to Kemmanagundi. The journey is scenic, passing through coffee estates and picturesque landscapes.

5:00 PM: Kemmanagundi

Arrive at Kemmanagundi and explore the beautiful gardens, hills, and waterfalls. Visit Z Point and Hebbe Falls for breathtaking views, and enjoy a stroll through the Kemmanagundi Botanical Gardens. Spend about 2-3 hours here. The entrance fee to the gardens is INR 5 per person.

8:00 PM: Return Scooter and Relax

Return the rented scooter and relax at your hotel or find a comfortable spot in town to have dinner. There are plenty of budget-friendly eateries in Chikmagalur.

If you're a nature lover, make sure to visit the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. This lesser-known wildlife sanctuary is home to a variety of animals, including tigers, elephants, and leopards.
